Antalya and Cappadocia are the two most visited regions of Turkey, and many travellers combine the Mediterranean coast with the fairy chimneys. The distance is about 530 km, and a private transfer turns the journey into a comfortable day on the road with no bus stations, transfers or waiting.
You are collected from your hotel in Antalya, Lara, Belek, Side or Alanya, or from Antalya Airport, and driven directly to your hotel in Göreme, Uçhisar or Ürgüp. The price is per vehicle, so for families and small groups it often costs less than flying via Istanbul.
The route crosses the Taurus Mountains and the Anatolian plateau via Konya. On request the driver can stop at Konya's Mevlana Museum or the Sultanhanı Caravanserai, which turns the transfer into a sightseeing day.

How far is Antalya from Cappadocia?
About 530 km by road. A private transfer takes 5.5 to 7 hours depending on stops. There are no direct flights or trains between the two regions.

Flights go via Istanbul or Ankara and take most of a day with connections. The road transfer is door to door, allows stops and for two or more people usually costs less per person than air tickets plus two airport transfers.
Can we stop in Konya on the way?
Yes. A stop at the Mevlana Museum or the Sultanhanı Caravanserai can be added when booking; allow one to two extra hours.
Do you pick up from Antalya Airport?
Yes. We pick up from Antalya Airport, the city centre and the resort areas of Lara, Belek, Side and Alanya. Tell us the pickup point when booking.
How many people fit in one vehicle?
Up to 8 passengers with luggage in a minibus; smaller groups travel by sedan or minivan. The price is the same per vehicle.

Kayseri Airport to Cappadocia Transfer
Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR) is the busiest gateway to Cappadocia, with direct flights from Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya and several European cities. The airport sits about 75 km east of Göreme, and there is no train or metro link, so almost every visitor arrives by road.
Nevşehir Airport to Cappadocia Transfer
Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV) is the closest airport to the fairy chimneys. It lies near Gülşehir on the north-western edge of the region, about 40 km from Göreme, and mainly serves Turkish Airlines and Pegasus flights from Istanbul.
Cappadocia to Pamukkale Transfer
Pamukkale's white travertine terraces and the ancient city of Hierapolis are the natural next stop after Cappadocia on a classic Turkey itinerary. The two are about 630 km apart, and there is no direct flight or train, so most visitors either take a long night bus or book a private transfer.
Cappadocia to Konya Transfer
Konya, the city of Rumi and the whirling dervishes, is the closest major city west of Cappadocia and a natural stop on the way to Pamukkale or the Mediterranean coast. The drive from Göreme is about 230 km and takes around 3 hours.
Ankara to Cappadocia Transfer
Ankara is the nearest big city to Cappadocia and its Esenboğa Airport has more international flights than Kayseri or Nevşehir. The drive to Göreme is about 300 km and takes around 3.5 hours, most of it on a dual carriageway.
